The dust collection on my Grizzly G1019 bandsaw was terrible. It has a small 1.5” dust port that was too far from the blade and too small. This is how I went about upgrading to a 4” port without making any major modifications to the saw itself.
I started by mocking an example with some blocks of wood and hot glue. When I had something that was usable, I glued everything together with wood glue and some brad nails.
The result is a huge improvement with a 4” port that collects dust much better than before.
